- Account information if you create a homeowner or contractor account
- For contractors: business name, license number, insurance information, service area, certifications, and photos submitted for listing verification

- Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP
- Pages visited, search queries entered on the Service, and interaction data (e.g. which listings you view or contact)

3. How we share your information

- With contractors, when you submit a quote request — see below for specifics
- With service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting, email delivery, payment processing, license-verification services), under contractual confidentiality obligations
- For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vetted Roof, our users, or the public
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections
4. Information shared with contractors
When you submit a quote request, we share the details of that request — including your name, contact information, property address, and project description — with the single contractor you selected. Consistent with our one-lead-one-buyer model described in For Roofers, we do not forward the same quote request to multiple contractors simultaneously. The contractor you contact will handle your information according to their own privacy practices once received.
5. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality (e.g. keeping you logged in), analytics (understanding how the Service is used), and — if enabled — advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect Service functionality.
6. Your choices & rights
